Oh really?! Wow! I was reading old old posts from previous students and they had said around 50 applicants are accepted. I guess they reduced the number accepted. Hopefully this will not affect any of us.

Do you have to be a nyc resident to apply to the adult learning centers and hhc program? I live in westchester county.

if im not mistaken, last year they had about 40 in each school...

Actually at my school in Brooklyn there was 60 students. Only about 45 graduated bc of various reasons.

Hi Guys,

If any of you returned your application packet but did not get interviewed at that time, please don't wait for them to call you. You can go there between 10 and 2:00PM and get the interview done.

I was told to wait when I called about my interview. But, I got tired of not hearing anything and kept calling until I got the person in charge. She told me to come in. So, if anyone is in that position, give her a call or go straight there for the interview.

The interview went well (It was as casual as you mentioned, Poettree.). She told me that she expects I will get in and that emails should be sent around the ending of July. They seem to be having issues with available teachers but I hope they will accept us all.

before they were asking for a $200.00 deposit but now they're asking for $1500.00. that's a major jump but Im still super excited to get started so 1500 it is i guess :yeah:
