Microbiology

Just wondering, I am about to enter micro in nursing school. Is it very difficult? I love science but I heard it is one of the most difficult classes from several nurses at the hospital I work at.

After taking chemistry and entire A & P sequence I found micro to be easier and more enjoyable as I had seen some of the course contents in previous pre-reqs.

I agree, I tended to find micro easier than my other courses. There was definately a lot of material but it's not difficult stuff. Just a lot of it.

I took it in the 6 week summer term. The highest grade I got on any test was a 75 and the teacher had to curve the final grades. I ended up getting a B. It was alot of memorizaton and alot of work. She made us do everything they did in the long semester so we had to give a presentation in front of the class and do a gram stain in the lab as our practicum. I did not really enjoy the class, I liked A&P alot more. It was difficult but doable.

As you can see there are differing opinions on this, it really depends on you.
