I'm also taking Micro this fall along with A&P 2. I stuck with the same professor I had for A&P 1 because I like his style and know what to expect.
A friend of mine took Micro this summer with the same professor I will have, so I found out what textbook she uses and ordered one. My friend suggested reading the first few chapters before the class even begins.
I'm actually looking forward to Micro.

Congrats on the excellent grade. Yes there are careers in genetics however, I believe that you will need to get a Masters or PhD, it all depends on what You want to do in the field. Your best option is to talk to a University Professor who knows about the field and they can send you on the right path. Most importantly get all the correct information you need to make a firm choice. Good Luck!

See if you can email the instructor and get the syllabus ahead of time and talk to some students who had the course. Also go ahead and get a tutor's name and number so that you are prepared. If you have done this well so far, just keep up the hard work and don't over stress yourself.
