Michigan State University Accelerated 2nd Degree BSN

Published

Has anyone applied to MSU's Accelerated BSN program for start date of May 2014 that did not get in as a traditional student? Hoping we can all keep each other in the loop here on the status of our apps in case they do wait lists. I am also interested to know what people have been denied/accepted with in the past as far as the 2nd degree program goes. I heard it's easier to get into than the traditional program, but who knows...

I'm a current graduate student at MSU

Everyone should be getting letters soon! I got mine today...I was rejected but that's ok. I'm just happy I can stop stalking the mailman. The letter was dated the 17th which was weird. Thanks MSU for waiting a week to send that out.

Hiiii gals :) happy to say I got in! I'm soooo excited, May can't come soon enough! I also applied to U of M but since they're taking so long to get back to all of us I said heck with it and am just planning on msu.

I'm in the same situation bburden319. I really wanted to at least consider UofM but I hear they aren't even going to release decisions until May now, which is too late for us. Regardless, I am just so happy all these years of hard work have paid off and I can finally study nursing at my favorite school :) Are you a current student at MSU?

No and oh my gosh msu still hasn't accepted me and I applied right when I applied to the program Grrr! Jane did u already get into the actual college admissions? It's been 12 weeks which is what the website says is the max admissions processes should take

I applied for readmission this fall to the college of natural science so I could take phm 350 this Semester and the college admitted me in about 48 hrs. Not sure what your situation is? I didn't know you could be admitted to the college of nursing without being admitted to the university first

I was a student at msu a few yrs ago so I only had to apply for readmission
