Hi! Haven’t seen a thread for MSU CRNA DNP 2020 program, so thought I’d start one. Any other applicants on here? Has anyone received an invitation to interview? Interviews are being held August 19-23 and the 26th, and they’re supposed to notify those who receive invites in early August... I know a few other applicants and none of them have heard anything either. Getting anxious! Any other info or insights on MSU’s program or their interview process would be great!

Not yet. I interviewed on Wednesday, 8/21 and they told me we wouldn't hear for 3 weeks. They had a few more days of interviews after that, so I'm not expecting to hear anything until this Friday (at the earliest).

Does anyone know any student that has gone through MSU’s DNP program? It’s the only program that I cannot seem to find any info on other than the curriculum.

I graduated from MSU's program a few years back, but I cannot shed light on the DNP program as it is pretty fresh still. What were you looking to find out?

Just a couple of things on my mind. How were the professors, easy to understand, get along with and supportive? How did you feel the program prepared you for the profession? Did you feel like the program had any challenges that made it more difficult?

I always like to learn about other student’s experiences with these programs. MSU‘S DNP has been the only one that’s been a mystery.

I couldn’t PM you, but have you heard anything about our cohort? I thought Dr. Lourens was going to send us an email and a book list for May, but I haven’t heard anything yet. I’m wondering if maybe they’re still calling people off the wait list.

I Believe I remember being told they will send out more info sometime in January.

Check your MSU email! I think she sent it so everyone can see everyone else’s name/email so we can share info as a cohort.
