Any Everest Institute lpn graduates out there?

U.S.A. Michigan

Hello! Are there any Everest Institute (Southfield Mi) grads out there? I am starting the lpn program May 11th :yeah:and I am looking to get some insight on how the program is and what to expect. I did speak to some people currently in the program while I was on campus and I heard positive feedback, but it wasn't like a one on one conversation just casual talk while I was being taken on a tour of the campus by an adviser. I am very excited and nervous at the same time. Any advice out there? :plsebeg:

Its pretty costly if you have no credits to transfer in. But if you transfer in credits it drastically reduces the cost. Doing an LPN on year program then bridging to become an RN would be the same amount of time that it takes to just do an RN program but you have to do whats best for you! If things don't work out at Oakland's program keep ITT as a thought. Good luck with everything :)

Thanks Ms.Ashley! I just need to work thats all. Taking off for 2 years won't pay my mortgage, lol! So working while in school will help. Its too bad there isn't anymore NWLB money! But keep us posted how your doing in the prgrom. Good luck!

Completely understand!! I'm working while in school too. Wanted to stop completely but just wasn't in the cards for me. It hasn't been that difficult this far but whose to say about the future. I guests il have to worry about that then. My job has been very flexible with my hours which im very appreciative of

To anyone who has attended or is attending Everest LPN program, can anyone pretty please explain the admission process and do Everest have a entrance test? If so is there a book out, that can help me pass the exam. I would like to start there January 2012 program
