Hello, I'm an ICU nurse of 17 years and I'm planning to move to Michigan with my husband and kids this Summer. I applied for Michigan licensure (I do not live in a compact state). Michigan nursing board only allows fingerprints to be done electronically through a company called Identago which advertises out of state locations on their website. However, there are none in my state. It appears that is false information, it's only available in Michigan which doesn't help when I'm 2500 miles away. I need to start working sooner rather than later but it appears my only option is mailing a hard card which could take weeks. Any tips on quicker fingerprint results in Michigan? For example, anyone submitted electronic fingerprints through another company and been successful?
tl;Dr Michigan is forcing me to submit hard card fingerprints; any tips from anyone who's been through this process from out of state? Thanks in advance 🙏🏼

Apparently you have to register in Michigan and then select out of state options.

Best wishes.
