MVH has an internship program for new grads...does anybody have any experience with this program? How about nurses working at MVH? any tips, advice, comments? all would be appreciated!!

I don't have any experience with the new grad program, but I worked at MVH a few years ago and was v. happy with them as an employer. Everyone else I knew at the medical center also seemed to be happy with their jobs. I only left because I needed to return to my home state, and I was sorry to leave my job there.

I would not hesitate to recommend MVH to people.

I currently work at Miami Valley Hospital and feel it is an excellent place to work. My niece completed the internship program and felt it was good for her. I have worked with many former interns and it is great for new nurses to have this opportunity to train with an experience RN and also the classroom experiences. I also left the hospital and moved out of state but when I returned home I went back to MVH. Hope this information has been helpful to you.
