Hi everyone!

I will be applying for MDC's fall term but am now worried and confused with all that's going on right now. I was planning to take the TEAS in April but with schools being closed and the may 1 deadline for the program I'm not sure what's going to happen. Does anyone have any updates?

I'm not sure what is going to happen but I emailed the testing dept to see if they will be offering distant testing through ProctorU or any other options. I'll post if I get a response.

I actually just received an email back that reads:

"We are working on Remote Testing Options. Mark Ross, Medical Campus Testing and Assessment Director will provide you with the status of taking the TEAS on a remote basis and other alternatives that are being considered for prospective nursing program students."

The deadline has been pushed back to June 30th per Dean Norris. The testing dept is trying to get approved to do the TEAS testing remotely. As of right now, the tentative date is 4/20 to begin testing again. You can email the medical building testing department to schedule it.

Hello everyone! The MDC website says the deadline for all medical programs has been pushed back to June 1st. Make sure to check the school website for updates.

Hello everyone. I really need help with the following questions. is it true that the deadline to apply to nursing school is June 30? How can I register for the TEAS test? I called the school today, but they're closed for the holiday. I'll call Monday. At least if someone can give me some clues. Thank, stay safe.

The deadline I believe is now June 1st and you can apply to take the TEAS online. I would check on the MDC website under testing

Thank you for replying. I must find out on Monday with the school because I can't sign up for the TEAS at this time. In fact, they say under testing service: “Remote available on or about April 20, 2020”. I asked if deadline is on June 30 because “RC1018 mentioned June 30.” Thank you.

The email from dean (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) from the Nursing Dept says June 30th. I would contact the nursing Dept directly to verify the discrepancies between the email and the update on the website.
