Hey, guys I've realized there's been a change in the required entrance test, Its no longer the hesi but the teas??

@Futuremurse1995 No, don't worry, I was like that too. Here is the link

https://www.MDC.edu/main/testing/status-of-exams.aspx.

and this one is to create the account for the test www.atitesting.com .

hi guys!

I'm applying to the Fall 2020 semester as well! I have a question, hopefully someone can help me out. Do you think that applying to the Full time and part time program would lessen your chance of getting into the program you actually want (full time)?

@prospectRNBSN honestly, I was thinking the same thing, but it cant hurt to apply to both. If anything when you turn in your application say that you prefer full time but will settle for part time if need be. In my opinion its better to get into something than nothing at all. But you will have to be okay with part time if it resorts to that, I feel like getting into part time is less competitive than full time because no one wants to spend double the amount of time in school.

Hey everyone, has anyone taken the TEAS yet? I am scheduled to take it in 2 weeks and a little nervous about it!

Does anyone know if they look at cumulative GPA or combined cumulative GPA?

They look at cumulative, science GPA's and TEAS score all equally.

Yes I saw. What I'm wondering about is the cumulative. In my unofficial transcripts they have three GPA. Cumulative, transfer, and combine cumulative. For me the numbers differ and I was just wondering if they use cumulative or combined cumulative.

@karenflrz I have heard that they use both comulative and science GPA

Hey, I am applying to the generic program at MDC this fall. I recently took the TEAS.

How was the TEAS?! I'm taking it in three weeks and I could not be any more anxious.

It was not good. I had trouble to get the test started. If anything happens that makes unable to have access to the test, email the testing department, that's the fastest way to fix any inconvenience you could have.

I'm very interested In your experience with the TEAS. I don't generally do well when taking test or exams; unless I really know the subject matter very well.

What was your experience taking it? Do you mind sharing what was specifically covered?
