Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

The next round won't be going pout until the majority of the accepted applicants send in their response letters because a lot of people applied to numerous programs...stay strong guys because it's not over...keep the faith because what is for you would be for you

Congratulations on your acceptance to MDC! I also got accepted to the accelerated program so we may possibly be classmates :)

I also applied to FIU and have been waiting for their response in order to make my final decision. I noticed you said you got accepted to FIU and I was wondering when did you hear back from them? I was told they would be contacting us this week but I haven't heard from them yet. Thank you in advance, and congrats again on your acceptance!!!

Hi Friend. Did you have to do a video for Fiu. I have heard you have to make one staying why you chose nursing ?

Woo hoo!!! I received the acceptance email, it was sent on 16th but just reading it now. Happy and excited but sooo tired from a trip that I can't get overly excited, which I guess is good. I am a little concerned about having to take a Hep B vaccine since my body does not handle those well due to an underlying health condition. I hope I can waive out of that requirement with a Drs note, as MDC is the only place where I applied.

Congratulations to those that got in. Please hit me up if you are Generic FT, Medical Campus.

Yes, as of last semester you had to prepare a video. I am not sure if that has changed :)
