Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Published

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

Hi Lita,

Congratulations on your acceptance to MDC! I also got accepted to the accelerated program so we may possibly be classmates :)

I also applied to FIU and have been waiting for their response in order to make my final decision. I noticed you said you got accepted to FIU and I was wondering when did you hear back from them? I was told they would be contacting us this week but I haven't heard from them yet. Thank you in advance, and congrats again on your acceptance!!!

Since I'm in Homestead and the Accelerated is only offered at the Medical campus, I will most likely take the FT option. But I still have to talk it over with my family. The Accelerated only cuts off one semester of study and I'm not sure the extra course work and stress is really worth it.

Hi everyone and Congratulations to everyone that got in! I found this blog and found it very helpful. I found out yesterday that I was accepted for the accelerated program at MDC. Anyone else accepted to the accelerated program?

I did, congratulations.

I applied to both generic full time and accelerated and turned in my applications at the medical campus too. I went today to turn in my response form and was advised that accelerated is only offered at the medical campus. I live in cutler bay :(

I did, congratulations.

Great! See you at orientation!

That's why I think I'm going to pick FT. Im in homestead. Plus, I have a six-month-old baby girl.

I would do the same especially since its one semester more. Best of luck!

For those of you who plan on retaking their science classes at FIU, u should. I'm a transfer from FIU & the science classes there are were not as difficult as you think as long as you avoid procrastinating (I've been guilty of that sometimes) & remain determine! The good part is FIU separates anatomy & physiology into two separate courses instead of having Anatomy/Physiology 1 & 2

Thanks I will apply next year If I'm not accepted, which I have faith i will. i might try fiu. I have 5 classes left to finish my AA.

The next round won't be going pout until the majority of the accepted applicants send in their response letters because a lot of people applied to numerous programs...stay strong guys because it's not over...keep the faith because what is for you would be for you

that is true. What program did you get into?
