Hello, No I did not. The video is for the generic nursing program. The accelerated program required an actual interview with the undergraduate adviser and a member of the nursing staff. So depending on the program you are applying to is whether you'll have to make a video or not. Good luck :)

Hi Lita, Congratulations on your acceptance to MDC! I also got accepted to the accelerated program so we may possibly be classmates :) I also applied to FIU and have been waiting for their response in order to make my final decision. I noticed you said you got accepted to FIU and I was wondering when did you hear back from them? I was told they would be contacting us this week but I haven't heard from them yet. Thank you in advance, and congrats again on your acceptance!!!

Hello xxlita611xx, I received that same email but unfortunately haven't heard anything since. I also applied to MDC, but we should be hearing back from them sometime in September or October. Good luck... I hope you get into the school of your choice :)

I believe you can only apply for one semester at a time.

Hi, I haven't applied yet. I think I'm going to go for summer of '14 and the deadline for that is March. My overall GPA isn't great either and to be honest that is the only thing I feel is holding me back. However, my pre-req GPA is 3.7. I decided to take some classes in order to raise my gpa so we'll see how that goes. Have you applied yet? Best of luck :)

Hello everyone, I am interested in applying to the accelerated program for this upcoming year (2014). I am planning to start my application within the next few months and would like to hear from those who have already been accepted or are filling out an application as well. If you don't mind sharing your overall GPA, pre-req GPA and any helpful tips you would like to recommend when filling out the application. Although I am not limiting myself to the U, this is the university I have my heart set on so any information is greatly appreciated.
