Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

I am applying this week FINALLY. I took the CSP exam and passed it. Can't wait for October!

Congratsss...Pls pls share any information that you receive when you go to apply lol thanks

What its that exam? Was it at MDC, they are not using an exam this academic year for admission.

Oh the csp is just an exemption exam for intro to computers

Hey guys! It is the Computer Skills Placement exam. I didn't want to take the CGS1060 class, so I decided to take the exam instead to meet the requirement. I didn't want to apply without meeting that requirement, so now that I took it and passed, I can apply to the program. Sorry, I didn't mean to scare anyone :)

I hope you all have been doing well! I will definitely share ANY and ALL info I get when I apply. Hopefully I get something juicy :)

I recently found out about them not requiring the nln pax rn anymore by looking on the website. I'm definitely thinking about applying today or tomorrow. The only problem is that my cum gpa is a 3.02 and my science gpa is a 2.94. Hopefully somehow, some way I get in. It will be my third time applying for this program.

I don't know why they took off the entrance exam. I'm sure those 4.00 gpa are accepted in the program right away. I have a low science gpa. 2.79

Not everyone, just a few with low gpa but the majority over 3.5.
