Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

Yep, same here. I upload twice and they didn't approve it. So I went to medical campus today, and explained my situation and the receptionist was exasperated because there were too many of is complaining, like if it was our fault. Thanks God I had the new form and one of the Drs helped me and signed it. They are trying to arrange something with the website so they don't have to do all the health care forms all over again. I just upload it today and waiting, hopefully for approval. ?

Yeah i just realized this, I guess I'll have to pass by tomorrow to get it fix ? .. You would think the clinic at MDC would have everything ready

Hey guys, quick question. Is there another student health record form other than the one provided to us in the email?

Talk about never over til it's over. I got my acceptance Monday evening. I'm at orientation now. I'm so excited

Yaritanew can I ask you a question? When you picked up the new form did it look like a booklet? With the doctor stamp in the front page? I went today and I told the receptionist about the denying issue and she just gave me the paper, told me she didn't know anything about it and closed the window, I left just as clueless as when I went in, I just want to make sure she gave me he right one thanks.

This is the link to the student health form provided on the step 4 of the admission page. The Complio website also offers the same form.

The problem was that the Wellness Clinic at Medical campus, has like the same exact form, an they weren't notified that this semester the format changed. So now they are trying to negotiate with the complio company so that they don't have to do all the forms all over again. In the mean time, for those who are going to pick up their blood test results, which is the final step, I advise you to take with you this form and make sure they fill out this one. Also make sure that on the PPD section, not only appears the date of the test, but also the reading date because the website won't approve it without that. I know, its like it never ends... :banghead:

Well, it really never ends, I just checked the complio website and they didn't approve the Health Form... again... because I need the health provider stamp on page 2. :madface: This is really getting on my nerves!!

Hey, but the form provided in the link on step 4 is the one we have to use right? Or is there another one we have to get from the medical campus (newer version) ? Thank you.

Yes, that's the one !! don't accept the form that medical campus is going to give you!!!

I called today and was informed that the Homestead program was full and they would not be sending out any more acceptances.

Hey guys goy I purchased our hunter green campus and clinical scrubs today and spend half the price mdc is asking for. Check out Blue Angels located next to Wendy's. Ladies the pants are drawstring in the front and elastic in the back.
