Good morning/night to all who are reading this,
I created this post in the hopes that all applicants applying for the nursing program at Miami dade submit their experience they have had so far and also submit any questions they might have. I'm currently applying for the accelerated option but would like to hear what others are doing in the part time and generic option. A little about me is that I have a BSN in health science (2014) and have taken all the prerequisites with the exception of A&P 2 (which I am retaking in summer b June 22).
Right now my biggest concern is the hesi a2 exam we have to take and making sure i ace it because my science gpa is not so hot right now. I have read prior posts and it seems like A&P is the most challenging section. Has anyone taken it as yet? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm worried that after they evaluate my degree they might not take my science subjects and make me re do them ? ? . Has any one's transcript been evaluated yet?

I really like MDC but IDK what is happening to them with all these extensions.
It's true now I wonder when well find out if we got accepted or not!
I'm applying after I'm done with this semester. Do not be scare of the loan. Your education is your priority, needless to say that's BSN is more demanded than an Associate and Baptist offers and scholarship.
This is becoming quite agitating. I'm considering giving up on dade at this point, it's always some BS with them. I was told I would have to stay with my 3.4gpa, get a high hesi score(preferably 82+) and wait. I apply and take the test on time, and the class average was abysmal. Now the average is steady rising, and worst of all, is they will simply pick the top 100 or whatever, regardless of original deadline, so whoever made it to the first deadline but had a slightly lower rank, will likely have to wait until next time.
This is so annoying/end rant
They also told me that they (nursing office) isn't the one sending those emails that its advicement that sends them. When they transferred me to advicement they told me that those emails are only sent to ppl who haven't applied yet or are in the process of finishing the pre reqs. Oh and that they only extended the deadline because they need a certain number of applicants and they haven't received the required amount.
