I just wanted to start a thread for people interested in the MDC nursing program for fall 2012. I think if you shared your scores (TEAS V & GPA) and what track your applying to (full-time or part-time), it will give everyone an idea of where they stand.
I will start:
I have a 3.7 GPA and an 81% on the TEAS and looking to apply for the part-time program. I have the option of taking the TEAS 2 more times which I will be doing :)
Hello everyone! I am trying to be calmed about the waiting but I cant deny Im getting nervous too. However, I think we should all try to focus on doing something else or otherwise we are going to be insane by the time we find out.
Zepphead, first of all, I want to thank you for all the info and the support, I believe I speak for all of us and we really appreciate it. If you dont mind, I would like to know what is the schedule for the full time generic program.
Mjil88, dont stop checking your MDC account at least once every couple of days because I have friends experiencing problems with the forwarding. I not saying it is going to happen to you but it is good to make sure you receive that letter.

You're right Mary, keep on minds on other things. I would suggest for everyone taking the cpr class cause it benefits you whether you get accepted or not.
I'll be checking my MDC account every few days or when I see someone on here getting notified of an email.
It's just hard to see threads for other schools getting their acceptances already when we still have a month or so left.
I've already signed up for the CPR class, because it will help me no matter what. I agree. It's hard to see people on other threads already having orientation, or at least getting their acceptances. I have never been a patient person, and this wait is awful LOL. At least if I still had classes, my mind would be on other stuff. I know we'll know soon enough......
MDC Medical Campus is hosting a virtual open house today. I chatted with a rep in the nursing section, and she said it's usually 6 weeks from the time of application until notifications go out. So....5 weeks left *sigh* LOL

Ok, guys I am sorry for taking too long to reply. The advisors told me that I have to wait till June, they also dont have a clue of what the cut score will be. I got 80.5% in the teas and 38.5 in science with make like 86 pts. I dont know if is good enough but there is nothing we can do now but wait. Good luck to all of you!!!!
