Miami Dade College Fall 2015 RN Program

Hey guys,

I figured I should share what I know about the Fall 2015 application so far.

So far this is what I know:

  1. Spring 2015 students do not need an entrance exam - let's see if they keep it this way for Fall 2015 applicants
  2. There will be a mandatory SOS Pre Nursing Bootcamp that will need to be attended upon acceptance to the program.
  3. I called advising today (7/7/14) the receptionist said I should start applying in January, but I'll confirm that once again before then.
  4. 60% sciences and 40% cumulative GPA is still the criteria as far as we know.

I figured this should be a great place for us to share our anxiety about our apps and build some friendships :).

Tell me details on the application is it paper or computer n what does the application ask and any documents u need to attach? And how much was the application? And who do u turn it in too? I'm so scare to apply and they will lose it since is so early lol

Yea I was a bit scared of that too but I'm like what the hell. I have my receipt so if they lose it that's on them I will just apply again and won't pay. I will call and check if they have it etc. It's just a basic app, with basic info. (Personal info, put previous school attended, program applying to etc) You don't need any other attachment. It cost $25. It is a paper application that you get from med campus and you have to see an advisor and they check it over and take it from there

Im taking speech this semester. I'm going to wait for the semester to be over. Can you apply that early ? Maybe I will apply in January.

I'm selling by speech book brand new for 35 dollars with the access card that I never use let me know what book is required for ur class.

Hello my classmates of fall 2015 :) I'm going to start with a positive mood and affirmations. Lol. I wanted to mention if anyone's is interested in applying also at Broward College South Campus at Pembroke Pines please let me know. Im going to start nursing school next year. Whoever accept me first will be the winner Lol. We got this !!! Sending all a good vibe.
