Miami Dade College Fall 2015 RN Program

Published

Hey guys,

I figured I should share what I know about the Fall 2015 application so far.

So far this is what I know:

  1. Spring 2015 students do not need an entrance exam - let's see if they keep it this way for Fall 2015 applicants
  2. There will be a mandatory SOS Pre Nursing Bootcamp that will need to be attended upon acceptance to the program.
  3. I called advising today (7/7/14) the receptionist said I should start applying in January, but I'll confirm that once again before then.
  4. 60% sciences and 40% cumulative GPA is still the criteria as far as we know.

I figured this should be a great place for us to share our anxiety about our apps and build some friendships :).

Hello to all you hopeful incoming students and applicants. I am a second semester student in the Generic FT program.

I am more than glad to assist you guys with any questions you may have. If i dont have the answer i can try asking around campus. Good luck to you all!

In previous years it has been around the 10 of June, you can find this by checking previous years posts.

We all know that this is a very competitive program, but you never know what GPA other people have. Let's keep a positive mind. One of the advisor told me that she had not seen too many high gpa this time.

Well last year there were a lot of people with high gpa that did not get in and a few with much lower gpa were accepted so we don't know what they look into

Lilcuban can you check your degree audit and log in as AA in pre nursing. I see that they added two more credits. This is insane. I see a foreign language class and a sls 1106 something call first year experience seminar. What the hell, is this a business or what ? More classes, more money and I don't have financial aid.
