MI DUI- Will I Get Liscensed?

I have seen a lot of posts about the CA BON and how harsh it is but I was wondering about Michigan. I got a DUI a little over a year ago. I have already completed all the requirements of my probation and paid all the fines. Now I am looking into applying to a nursing second degree option program but I'm really worried. I looked on the MI BON website and it just says that they evaluate it on a case by case basis. I really want to become a nurse but I don't want to get myself completely in debt only to be denied licensure by the BON in a few years. Does anyone have any advice? I would really appreciate it!

I have been looking at this post for other comments. I am in MI also and have a theft record and was looking for insight as well. Please help if you know anything about the MI BON!!!
