I received an email from them confirming my application yesterday !

Awesome! I haven’t received the confirmation email but I know I sent everything in time. Should I be worried?

I think you might ask the admission or let them know that you submitted the application but haven’t received the confirmation email.

I received another email today.

"Thank you for submitting your application to the Direct-Entry Master of Science in Nursing (DEN) program at MGH Institute of Health Professions!

We see that your application was received via NursingCAS by the December 1st deadline. We appreciate the efforts you have already made to ensure that your application is one of the first to be processed by our team.

If you have not already received an email, the Office of Admission will be communicating with you shortly regarding any outstanding application requirements, and/or congratulating you on the completion of your application for faculty review. Please be advised only complete applications will be forwarded to the Admissions Committee for review.

All applicants will be notified via email as soon as admission reveiw is complete and your admission decision is available. All admissions decisions will be sent out at the same time for the fall 2020 admissions cycle.

Please contact the Admission Office at [email protected] if there is anything we can do to assist you.

I received this email on friday but not the other one you mentioned. I submitted the app on october 1st

I received that same email too, just not the confirmation one. I did reach out to them and they said they're performing pre-requisite checks right now, so I wouldn't worry too much if you got it to them in time

@MAGGIE-EMT hi I think they’re still reviewing the prerequisite courses, like @pnambu615 said. So I would not worry!

I got an email that they were missing my high school transcript. I wasn't aware we needed this (I probably just missed it). It's been such a pain trying to get it from my high school since they don't send them electronically/I can't even request it electronically. MGH is the only school that wanted my high school transcript. I then sent all the info to my high school (via certified mail) to have them send it only to have the post office lose it and send my envelope to a completely different state! I'm so annoyed. What did everyone do to get their high school transcript? I hope it doesn't delay the review of my app too much.

I’m in the exact same boat as you. I’m so annoyed since it’s so STUPID. How can one even attend (much less graduate) from a US university without going to high school?!

My high school would have had to mail the official transcript but was able to email me an unofficial transcript which I uploaded to nursingCAS and MGH accepted it. I wonder if you can try that!

It's so stupid. I know!! I tried calling my high school to send an unofficial transcript no one answered - I left a voicemail got no callback. I am SO annoyed. Based on their requirements online I still need to mail payment to even receive an unofficial one and that includes a photo ID etc, which I did but USPS still hasn't delivered it. I spoke to MGH and they basically told me they can't do anything, that they can't review my application until they get my high school transcript - it's the nursing department's policy. Very frustrating. I live an hour fifteen away from my high school, so maybe sometime next Friday when I don't have class/work I'll go there. I may reach out to my undergrad institution to see if they have a copy of my high school transcript lol.
