MGH IHP DE NP 2019

I didn't see a thread for this year's IHP direct-entry NP applicants, so figured I'd create one. Anyone else applying this cycle?

Hi anxiously waiting!! Any idea on the average stats of accepted applications? I have been looking everywhere and I can't find much! Also good to know that last year's applicants heard around 8:30 pm, I definitely wouldn't have expected that! Best of luck to everyone, hopefully, we will hear back soon!

Apparently last year they had about 400 applicants and 100 people got in (not including students who gave up their spots for other programs). They said their applicants had a B+ average (so around 3.3 GPA). I don't know much about the GRE except that they look at applicants holistically so it's not the only thing they'll consider. I'm hoping we hear back soon!!

I’m kind of happy programs generally don’t let us know their admissions statistics because they’re so discouraging for this type of program - a 25% acceptance rate really isn’t great odds lol

Hi all! I emailed MGH last week but did not know this forum existed. They told me that they hope to have decisions out by the end of the first week of March. Later than I expected, but am in the same boat with another program. Good luck everyone!!

That feels so far away! Lol hopefully it's actually earlier than that!

I emailed them today, got the same response as you all, that they expect to have the decisions out by the end of the first week of March. It would be wonderful if it’s tomorrow though!
