MGH ABSN Summer 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone! I thought I'd start a post for the MGH ABSN Summer 2019 program! I was wondering what everyone's backgrounds were. I am a senior finishing my degree in psych with a minor in bio. I have a 3.6 GPA and I am taking the TEAS this week. I'd love to hear other people's stats and which schools you're applying to!

I was also accepted yesterday through email and I had submitted my application for the Dec. 15 deadline.

I was also accepted yesterday and applied for the Dec 15 deadline! Does anyone know the next steps besides the enrollment fee?

@mnt7000 I am wondering the same thing. The email wasn't too in depth on what our next steps are. I'm hoping that there will be an accepted students day so that we can get some of our questions answered.

@mrose159 me too! Do you know there any Facebook or groups for accepted students yet??

@mnt7000 no I haven't been able to find anything yet, unfortunately.

I was accepted yesterday! congrats to everyone who was accepted!

I was also accepted yesterday and I applied on December 15th. I emailed admissions and asked when decisions would be out and they told me February 15th, so I was shocked to see an email so soon!

I’m really sad right now ☹️ I was waitlisted at UMass, so I’m hoping for the best at mgh... for the accepted students.. do you mind sharing your stats?

@Deor2019 Good luck to you! I am currently finishing my bachelor's in nutrition. My cumulative GPA on NursingCAS was a 3.27 (can't find my prereq gpa on there but it was around a 3.0 because I retook some courses). I scored an 89% on the TEAS exam and I have been working as a CNA for a year and a half! Hope that helps!

@mnt7000 thank you! That helps a lot! Congrats in your acceptance! I’m sure you’ll make an awesome nurse!
