This is my first time starting a Thread on this site, and second time posting in general. I Start CNA/ phlebotomy Program on monday :yelclap: {which is about 2 months long} and plan to start LPN School in September. Has anyone ever attended Merit Technical Institute In New Jersey??? If so, how Good is the program?? How Good are the Professors?? I read that they have about a 80% pass rate on the state exam! Please Help! LOL...Thanks in advance.
sharing is caring, my sister
personally would not recommend that school..... not worth your time and money..... the following link could give you a good idea of the type of people they are..... and not to mention why they are really not accredited.....

thanks for the link. this is what i have been trying to tell people. these types of technical schools have thrived during this recession for these reasons. they admit anyone as long as they will get paid. most of the clinical time is just on paper. attendence records, grades and anything else is fudged so that they don't have to expel anyone and lose their money.
Hello i took the test on sat and passed but my main concern is accrediation. If anyone with facts can pls help me with this i would greatly appeciate it. Also if anyone has a website that i can check pls let me know.thx in advance

Hey. I wouldn't call it exactly a scam but they definitly are trying to milk you for your money. Think about it this way.....why start a CNA program and wait 6 months to start an lpn program when you can take a test for another lpn and get right into the program??? save your money and get accepted into a lpn and go straight through. You don't need to waste time. I know many schools in the NY/NJ area that has lpn classes starting in October. You will just have to take an entrance exam like any other. message me if your interested.
