Hi everyone,

Im out in California right now. Im having a house built in Indian Trail. It will be done at the end of May. Ive been doing prereqs off and on for a while now. Im so glad its not a lottery system out there:) I was looking at ADN programs. So far, it looks like CPCC and CCHS are an option. I havent had any Chemistry yet.I was bummed out I would have to take 2 Chem courses at CPCC. I have algebra, english and support classes done.I need the sciences still. I would love some suggestions on what to do.Is it suicide to apply without the sciences done?

Thanks!

Amber

I Have Applied To The School For The Fall Of 06. If Anyone Goes There Or Has Been Accepted, Any Info Would Greatly Be Appreciated.

Thanks

Lisa

It is about 18 months. 5 semesters, including summers, so it can vary depending on when you start. I started fall 05, should graduate may 07.

Anyway,

good luck :)

we have 500ish people apply for my class and 45 got in. we are down to 30 and we are dropping! It is not easy, by any means.

Just wondering if there is anyone who is trying to get into mercy school of nursing? Any info would be highly appreciated!!

Thanks

I'm a LPN trying to get in Mery transition program to become a RN. Is it very competitive to get in the school. I feel if I get in I'll pass. I'm coming from Brooklyn, New York. So far I been trying to contact there facality but no one call me yet. Please tell me its not 3,000 trying to get 30 spots

I am not aware of any transition program available from Mercy, where I go.

For the RN program, there are over 500 applicants for about 40-45 spots. Good luck.

I had a hard time finding any info about the school, as well but was impressed by their passing rate on the RN exam.

hey there! i sent you a pm. it is great that we will be in the same class at mercy in may!:lol2:

Fitnessangel,

I would call up ***** and ask about the apartments available on CCHS' (our sister school) campus. You would have a little driving (about 15-20 minutes to get to the new school campus), but would be near Mercy Hospital for clinicals... And the money you save living there is great. If you are single and have a roommate it can be as cheap as 225 including utilities a month. Good luck!

Edited name out of post. Please respect others' privacy...
