Hi new grads! Just wondering if anyone else applied to Mercy Medical Center in Redding's new grad program. My application got sent to the manager... My fingers are crossed!

Charis, yeah their system is really wonky. I've had the same trouble with it.

I'd be thrilled to have an interview and be accepted in any unit! With that said, my first choice would be oncology.

I completed mine as well I believe last week. I'm from Sacramento so about 3hrs away from Redding. One of my classmates had a reference process to go through so I was wondering if anyone else got that.

That's interesting... I haven't had to do the reference process. Good luck calling Recruiting regarding your attachments. Took me a while to realize that I was applying for jobs and not including my resume! Their system isn't very user friendly.

I wonder when they'll start interviewing? The job doesn't start until July, but they need us to pass background checks which I'm assuming will take a while.

Not sure what other school's timelines are, but I am a little worried about the time crunch to have my license by 7/1/13. Anyone else worrying that this may be a bit difficult?

Go look at the status of your application. Mine shows manager review.

Do you mean where it says "Submission Status"? Boo, mine says "Completed, Updated 1 April."

For the record, I grew up in Los Angeles, moved to San Francisco, but am finishing up an Accelerated BSN program in Baltimore. Can't wait to go back home!

I don't know about everyone else, but I have my license already. I graduated mid December and passed my NCLEX at the end of January. If you take your test some time in June you should be fine. I took my test on a Thurs and had my results posted on the BRN website the following Tues, so it's pretty quick.

A classmate of mine said that if they do want to call you for an interview, they are going to ask you to attach your paperwork. I don't know but I see something dumb about this lol

Hey Charis what paperwork would we need to attach for the interview? I feel like I've already given them everything I have to give. Signed my life away practically. Haha
