Merced College Fall 2022/Spring 2023 ADN

Updated:   Published

Starting a thread for any ADN applicants. This will be my first year applying to nursing programs. Already have a Bachelor's in Health Administration but GPA is only 3.35. Looking for others starting the process :).

Wow! I was really hoping we’d find out today. What a bummer.

I know, they said we would be notified by the end of June. It would be nice if they sent an email out.

OMG, I just want to know yes or no, so I can plan something else

Same here. I wonder what the hold up is. This is the first and only school I’ve applied to so far, but definitely adding CSU Stan and Fresno to my list. Have you applied elsewhere?

Out of all the times I applied here they were never late, one time they were early. My guess is when they reopened the application period for a whole day they got a ton more applications

I will be lying if I said I didn’t see this coming LOL

I agree. They should have also handled the “2nd application window” better. At the very least they should have notified those that successfully applied the first time to prevent them from unnecessarily submitting a subsequent app. Perhaps that’s causing the delay, but who knows.

Specializes in Health/Gerontological Technical Writing.

No way...this is so insensitive and unprofessional of them. In the application confirmation email they explicitly said not to contact them, and that they would let everyone know on May 31. Not to even notify their applicants of the change is sheer laziness.

I agree this is very disappointing when I turned in my application it said it went through and everything and then when I check my Merced email two days later they said that they had problems which freaked me out but they said if I saw the screen that said my application has been turned in for internal  review I should be good but I’m still nervous that my application somehow didn’t go through

I don’t think so since they told me they got around 400. That’s what it usually is.
