Starting a thread for any ADN applicants. This will be my first year applying to nursing programs. Already have a Bachelor's in Health Administration but GPA is only 3.35. Looking for others starting the process :).

If you want to try and get a head start I would go on YouTube and watch RegisteredburseRN's videos on how to answer nursing school style questions. The style of questions are really different compared to any other type of exam I had ever taken. Most students scored poorest on the first exam not because they didn't study enough but because they did not know how to answer the questions. I got a 78% on the first exam then began learning how to answer the style of questions better and do tons of practice questions. After that, I scored in the 90s for most of my other exams. Pay attention in lecture, (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) the professor will tell you what is important. If she says it's important during lecture put a star next to it because it will most likely be on the exam. Pharmacology is challenging, but there are a ton of resources. I found YouTube to be so helpful when it came to memorizing different categories of drugs. Different videos give mnemonics and tricks to remember the important information.
Thank you so much this information will be so so helpful I truly appreciate it. I will pass this along to others starting with me this august.

Thank you, very excited, nervous and so many thoughts.
It depends on which hospitals you go to for clinical rotation. Mercy uses Cerner. Los Banos uses something else.
