As "second level" students, we have to draw a name to buy a goodie bag or nurse survival kit for incoming students. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what to place in the bag?

What a really nice thing to do! :) I'd fill a bag with the following:
1. nursing scissors........so they don't have to borrow mine.
2. nurse pouch to carry their ink pens, money to eat, etc. in.
3. a bag of miniature snickers bars to eat for all the missed lunchbreaks they will have
4. Bubble Gum to chew away their stress
5. Nurse pen with their name on it -- black ink only
6. smiley face badge to remind them to smile through the shicky days :)
7. a free meal ticket to the cafeteria
8. bottle of water for all the thirsty moments they'll have
9. tiny box of tylenol for the headaches they will surely get.
10. a squeeze ball for stressful moments...I had one of my own, and boy did it come in handy. :chuckle
11. small bottle of hand lotion to ease their red an itchy hands from the many washes their hands will endure.
