Hey everyone!
I am graduating next month with my BSN and am still in the interview / application process. Recently my university asked to do an interview with me for the school website. One of the prompts asks for the greatest challenge I have faced, which I consider to be struggling with multiple sclerosis. Although the illness has not caused significant disability, issues like chronic pain have proven to be a significant challenge and learning experience for me in nursing school. I feel that this is integral to my experience, however I am worried that employers may discriminate against me for this diagnosis. Am I right to be wary? or am I thinking too much into this?

You are right to be wary. Best to find another challenge ready for an interview answer.

I agree with Caliotters3. An employer doesn't need to know that you have M.S., and it has nothing to do with your nursing if it's a job interview. Discrimination is out there, seen and unseen. Don't give it an edge.
Exactly. Give them ammunition and they will use it to blow you out of the water.
