Menstral cycle after C-Section

I already had my first cyle 5 weeks after my C Section. I am on my second cyle now but it is very , very light, Is that normal? It did start at its 28 day mark but I am concerned because it is so light.

Are you nursing or bottlefeeding? How long did you bleed right after your C-section? After my 2 c-sections, I did not hardly bleed at all. I did not get my cycle for at least one year with both because I was nursing. Every woman's body responds to post partum differently. I don't think there is anything to worry about, but if you are concerned, I would just call your doctor's office. :p

I bleed very heavy my first cylcle. I thought I was hemorraging. I wasn't though. MAybe thats why it is light this time. No I am not breastfeeding either.

AH well your cycles are returning. Lucky you. I am so sorry. Be sure you have good contraception unless you plan another baby soon! Best wishes and congratulations on your new baby!

I was nursing so it took almost a year to come back after my section but when it did I was shocked at the heaviness and its the same every month crime scene proportions for 4 days. I keep meaning to find out if that's normal but I assume it is since it's the same every month now.

i too was shocked at how awful the first period was after baby. I had a lady partsl delivery and nursed for 1 year so it took about 10 months before my period came back but when it did i was on a houseboat in the middle of lake shasta and had to wear on of my babys diapers it was so bad! :o :uhoh21:
