what brands and style I decided I am gonna order some off the net because I am sick of the unisex crap. I have been looking at the Aviator scrubs and they seem pretty nice.

I buy all my own material and my wife makes my scrubs. This makes them very personalized and unique. So if you or wife can use a sewing machine go out get a pattern and make your own. I love mine plus the fact my wife made them makes me appreciate them more.

Another vote for Iguanamed. I have tried just about everything out there and they are by far my favorite.

My wife and I, she's also an RN, are taking a sewing class just so we can learn to make scrub tops.

Another vote for Aviator Scrubs. Used to wear Landau and a set would last 4 to 6 months. Aviators last about a year and I got get tons of compliments and questions about them.

Do you mind providing the websites for these brands? I want to make sure I get it right.
Thanks,

I'm currently rocking Cherokee Workwear scrubs, 2 pocket tops (which I love) and elastic band cargo pants (which I have a love hate relationship with). I love the pockets and the waist fit, but I hate the ankle cut. They have this pistol-leg tapering that is just not flattering. I hate pants that are narrow at the ankle such that the tongue of my shoe sticks out.
That being said...
How do the Aviator pants fit at the ankle? I'm looking for a cargo pant that has a relaxed fit and either a wide-leg or a boot-cut (not a flare-leg, mind you). The waist I don't care if it's elastic or drawstring, zipper or not. I would PREFER a zipper and elastic..but I'll take what I can get as long as I can get rid of this tapered ankle crap! Thanks!

Pair of EMT pants, belt and embroidered polo shirt. Wind shirt on cold days.
The pants have plenty of pockets, have a zipper and feel right. The belt lets me hang accesory pouches without my pants falling down.

Aviators are relaxed cut and the ankle doesn't taper. Just remember to wash 'em inside out to preserve the velcro on the pockets & equipment holder straps. Also wash 'em with like colors until you're sure they won't bleed anymore. I have burgundy & black classic cargo pants. Both colors bled for the 1st 3-4 washes but didn't fade. The waist is elastic with a built-in belt. Zippers are an additional expense option.
Lotsa pockets are great. I have my stuff divided up as follows:
Right cargo pocket - PDA
Right cargo pocket equipment holder #1 - EMS shears
Right cargo pocket equipment holder #2 - kelly clamp
Right slash pocket - cell phone
Right lower leg pocket - ACLS & PALS reference cards
Left cargo pocket - gum
Left cargo pocket equipment holder #1 - carpuject
Left cargo pocket pen holder - 2 spare pens
Left lower leg pocket - schedule (I'm workin' when?) and/or whatever was in my mail slot.

I too must sway from the Aviators trend... I had a friend suggest them. And while they do last a LONG time, all I had to do was try them on to realize how hot they would be (I'm in Florida). And the fit is odd, if you notice on their website, all the 'models' have them pulled up to their nipple line. Well, I believe that is how they intend for you to wear them. When I put them on my waste, I've got a 10 inch crotch.
The end of May/June I believe is Aviator's anniversary. They offer 25% off during this time - the best deal you can get on their scrubs. Just a tip for those looking into them.
I'm giving Iguanamed a try, otherwise I'm going to take sewing classes, and finally use my business degree...

Hey, I carry these three items in exactly the same way. How cool!

EMT pants RULE.
511tactical.com ... My hospital color codes, so its the dark blue for me. There is a pocket for everything, including your wallet, in the cargos. And these pants are teflex treated, so go ahead... bleed all over me!
