I just wanted to start a thread for anyone out there applying to Memorial Hermann's Nurse Residency for Summer 2016!!

I was offered a position at Greater Heights, too. I emailed my signed acceptance letter a couple of weeks ago. Do you know if there is anything else we are supposed to do now?

I got an email from HR at Hermann NE earlier this week, this is after I got the offer letter and whatnot, saying that New Hire services would contact me 2-3 weeks before my start date to begin the rest of the hiring procedures.

I hope that is not the case for TMC-Childrens, as I will be relocating from NC and need time in advance to plan my move! Or I hope they at least give us a start date soon.

Has anyone found out the exact start date for TMC-Childrens?

So they said mid-july. Everyone in the childrens program will start on nights 7-7. The orientation will start on days mon-fri 8-5. Thats as much info as I could get..

Have you heard anything from Greater Heights after you sent your acceptance letter? I sent my letter and have called and emailed to make sure it was received but have not heard anything else.

I didn't get a response after I sent mine in.

Do you know if there is anything else we need to do now? Did they tell you when we should hear from them again? When do we get physical?

The email that came with the offer letter says the background check happens 30 days prior to start date and license has to be obtained by June 15th. Be on the look out for more communication from HR. I had to complete another application along with my offer letter too

Does this residency require you to sign a contract?
