I just wanted to start a thread for anyone out there applying to Memorial Hermann's Nurse Residency for Summer 2016!!

Has anyone heard about the ER?

I haven't heard back from NICU yet for TMC! I got a second interview. The anticipation is killing me.. I hope we all hear back soon. I know the last interview wasn't done until 9pm.

I just realized... They never mentioned a start date, did they? Just told us July? Anyone have any idea on an exact date?

I thought I heard them say the start date was July 26th

I was told July 11th and I'm at H.M Katy.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site.

Just wanted to share that I put MHSW as my first choice because it was close to home, I volunteered there for 2 years, had multiple clinicals there, worked with the managers and leaders of the hospital for my leadership clinicals, and because they had a NICU position opened. However, they called me later and told me they are no longer doing NICU for the program and so I went with postpartum. But they only had 1 position opened so I didn't get it.

I talked to other recruiters at different locations hoping to get a chance at the 2nd match day but looks like positions were all full. I wish I knew about this sooner because I wouldve chosen Children's as my first choice instead of second. Memorial Hermann is my favorite hospital system so I'm pretty sad now.
