Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for anyone out there applying to Memorial Hermann's Nurse Residency for Summer 2016!!

I got a second interview as well!! Praying I get an offer for the NICU at children's!!

Is that good?

It's decent. They said they were trying to be more competitive on pay. They also gave us a packet about benefits but it was very vague. They offer tuition reimbursement but it didn't say how much, though it did say how much they offer for loan repayment. THR in dfw pays 24 an hr for new grads. I'm assuming that the cost of living is higher in Houston.

No, cost of living in most parts of Dallas is higher than most parts of Houston but Houston tries to attract more medical professionals so the pay is typically higher.

I should have stated higher than fort worth. That's what I meant. Idk if it is though or not.
