Memorial Hermann-Nurse Residency Spring 2018

Published

Just making a thread for Memorial Hermann's Graduate Nurse Residency program for Spring 2018, so we can keep each other updated on our process. Started filling out my application today! Super excited and totally nervous already :/

I have an interview for ER

Hi guys

What is the link to check your application status?

Workday

Phew, now that Match Day is over, how does everybody feel?

I hope everybody did well and that we hear back soon!

Yesterday was a very, very long day and it was great to see so many people there. A huge shout out to those that came in from California, South Dakota, New Jersey, and Arkansas.

Now we wait and see who is getting "married" to Memorial Hermann.

Good luck everyone.

I wasn't sure how to feel after match day! Hoping we hear something soon! Good luck to everyone and keep us posted on when y'all hear something!

I didn't feel so good afterwards either but I got a call yesterday morning that I've been offered a spot on the medicine unit!! Official offer will be coming late this week or early next but that was a lot sooner than I expected! I did interview on the 23rd though. Best of luck to all and I hope everyone hears something soon!!

Did you guys get to do 2 interviews?

I had the initial interview, like in the registration room where everyone was interviewing and then after that the recruiter pulled me aside and gave me a paper that said to go up to the waiting room on the floor of the unit I was interviewing for. I went up and then did another interview with 4 nurses on that specific unit that I wanted. After the second interview, I got to tour the unit. Not sure if this was for every unit, or what. Just wanted to know if anyone else had this experience.

I got the call right after my interview. Sooo happy to be married to MH TMC ED!!!!!

Has anyone heard from L&D?

has anyone heard from PICU?:)

What unit was this for?
