Hey! I just wanted to see if anyone else has been contacted for the ER residency or new grad position. I was contacted to input refernces for th ER position and am soooo excited!!! Hope they call me soon!!!

Called the HR department @ Memorial and the lady stated it will be at least 30 days for a call back!

so we wont here anything until late june for a july start program?

Wow, that is a long time! It looks like the people last year heard in early June.

The application said we would hear "later in May"

What a bummer, I was looking forward to hear something soon!

Does anyone know how many people they interview for the ER Nurse Resident Program? Is it multiple positions or just one?

I didn't see a separate position for the ER nurse residency. I only saw one position for the RN 2012 New Grad. I think they forward resumes to the ER manager for consideration, at least I hope so.

There was 2 separate postings. The ER seems to be moving faster than the general new grad position. Can someone even confirm that this is a legit hiring opportunity. I can't find any info on anyone actually being hired. I'm out of state so I don't know.

I got an email last night from Memorial's New Grad program to input reference information which seems to be the second step of their hiring process. So I think it's legit. :) Good luck guys!

I hope it is legit! I got a call yesterday for the ER Nurse Resident position. I hope it's more than one position, but I am really not sure. I haven't heard anything for the New Grad Program yet though... I guess if some people heard yesterday then maybe I won't hear from them. Oh well! Congrats kbelle29!

I applied for both also. They called yesterday morning to schedule an interview for ER resident and told me I would be receiving an email about references. When I got the email, it said RN-New Graduate, not ER. On the phone she definitely said ER.

Perhaps you got both! They called me yesterday for the ER position as well, however my reference e-mail specifically says ER Nurse Resident. When I checked my application status online it said I was rejected from the New Grad 2012 and the ER status remained the same.

Perhaps you're right... the status for both apps are unchanged (no rejected status). But they haven't attempted to schedule an interview for the New Grad spot.

Would it be inappropriate to send an email to the recruiter asking for my resume to be forwarded to the ED manager? How did I not see this position?
