Memorial Care New Grad October 2022

Hello! I just wanted to make this forum to see if any has heard back from any of the new grad openings from memorial care for this October yet? I got invited to an interview for Long Beach Memorial float pool but that's about it so far. A little worried because October's just around the corner and I haven't seen many updates with my application. Would greatly appreciate any insight on the interview/types of questions for LBM float pool because it sounds really intimidating based on previous posts! ? thank you and good luck everyone!

They mentioned my next steps would be hearing from HR by today which I have not heard anything from them. I reached back out to the person I zoomed with as well and no reply from her either

congrats on your interview :) when did they contact you for one? I'm assuming they're must be all done if you had yours last week.. my app still says "under consideration" but they haven't contacted me yet and now I don't want to get my hopes up

Thanks! They contacted me that morning and gave me a few dates and I chose to do it that same day in the afternoon. I’m sure they are still reaching out since the start date isn’t until November 28th! But now I’m just confused if I was supposed to hear from HR by now and haven’t whether that means HR is just super busy or if I didn’t get it ?

From my experience with other hospitals, they don't usually reach out exactly when they say they will.. I'd give it till the end of this week/beginning of next maybe? 

Also, this round, I noticed the NICU separated their "new grad" and "new to specialty" apps so maybe those different roles have different timelines?

Check your portals! The two specialty programs I have applied for are now closed, but also it's paired with the status update "complete." I haven't heard anything further

Thanks for the update! Mine says it was updated yesterday. It still says active for the job status and then still says complete for the application status. I still haven’t heard anything as well since my meeting

oh I wonder if all the new grad programs start November 28th! ? I haven't heard back and it's been quite a while so I feel like I didn't get it ?

From my understanding, new grad programs with a tentative start date are subject to change to help accommodate the pace with HR, interviews, and stuff. November 28th is ideal, however, might change. I haven't heard back as of today either. At least my application wasn't rejected.

I got an email from the person that I had a zoom with and she mentioned to me that the recruiters and HR are swamped right now since almost every department is hiring. So definitely stay hopeful !!

I’m so glad I’m not the only one in this situation waiting to hear back! My application is also still under consideration, hoping to hear back soon!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to update for anyone still waiting to hear. I got my official offer letter earlier this week for the Nov 28 start date in the nicu ! Hoping that everyone is going to start getting calls!

OMG congratulations! so exciting! you have a month to celebrate and relax hehe. would you be comfortable sharing the new grad pay range? totally okay if not!

Congratulations new_nursemaddy! This is awesome news! ^.^! Has anyone else got any update on their portal? Mine hasn't updated from complete since 10/12.
