   As I said, the vial says sterile cartridge right on vial that comes in sealed plastic tube.

   As an example: you're setting up a spinal by your self and want to have your syringe with marcaine and dialysis ready to go. Not a big deal to just wait for someone just wondering since the vial says sterile cartridge and is in a sealed plastic tube.

   So I've searched everywhere, and can't find anything on this. The Dilaudid Carpuject vial says sterile cartridge on it, and comes in a plastic clear tube as you probably know. Is there any reason why it couldn't be dropped in on a sterile field?
