I do know first hand how frustrating it can be when interacting with people who think you are very young. I am 34 and look as if I am 21 or younger. I am usually very matter of fact with them, but in a kind way. Usually they respond very well to this. I just graduated in Dec with my BSN. I have worked as a tech on an orthopedic floor since starting nursing school and have learned that people are going to think what they want about you no matter what you do. I just maintain my integrity and rely on the confidence I have in myself and my ability to get the job done.
We had three med/surg classes and they were called Health Illness Transitions I, II, & III.
I just graduated Dec 15 and my last Med/Surg class was by far the most difficult. I got my first C out of this class and was soooo heart broken. I've quickly gotten over it, and now looking forward to taking the NCLEX.
Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been to this site many times to get information, but never registered. I am a second semester nursing student at Clayton College and State University. I will graduate with a BSN December 2005. I have been married for 10 years and we have four kids. I learn a lot everytime I come to this site and am glad that I found it.
