Go for it girl! I just moved out of California to get a job and it is not even that great of a job. I don't have a family yet, but it will be hard to find that great of a job in Cali.
I had to move out of California to find a nursing job. It is really tough out there.
I would go with either RN job. Lets face it you need the RN experience to move to a hospital at some point. I think this is the way to go. If I had to choose it would be the nursing home, because home care intimidates me but I think either would be fine.
I moved from California to Kansas to take a nursing position at a school. It is not a school nurse but it is working with special needs children in the classroom. We only have ONE kiddo that comes 2 hours a day that needs a water flush of the G-tube while they are there. I feel like I am losing my skills. I need a hospital job or something. I;m at such a loss. If I hear one more person tell me what a great field nursing is because of the jobs I am going to loose it.
I just want to be a NURSE. This is all I have ever wanted.
I'm in the same boat. I am working in a school with one kiddo that has a G-tube. I am lucky that I even have a job I know but the pay is crappy and on top of that I'm not getting much experience. I am interested to see ideas for other on here.
