I am an FNP. I was job hunting during the winter but it wasn't too bad. A decent amount of doctors were willing to take a new grad. My problem was finding a decent paying job that didn't want me to sign a year contract. I didn't want to be stuck at a...
I had a degree in bio first. I did an accelerated BSN program in 12 months then went directly onto the MSN portion. I worked as an RN for over a year while doing the NP program. I am now working as an NP and I wouldn't change a thing. I knew I didn't...
I would be patient. A few months ago went through the whole interview process. I had my phone interview then that same night i got called by the regional manager for my in person interview which took place the next day. I think it depends on how grea...

Look into Thomas Jefferson FACT program. I am currently in it and I LOVE it. The professors and faculty are great and really go out of there way to help. Plus it is only 12 months.
I also live by myself. I had also saved alot from working and my parents (and other relatives) are helping me out with some of the other bills/expenses.

I am a current student of the FACT program and I absolutely LOVE it. The faculty is so nice and very helpful. My only advice for the application process is to apply early (1st round) and have most (if not all) of your pre-reqs done.

Are a majority of the clinicals in Philly or do they send you all over the tri state area? Im trying to decide if I want to commute (about an hour on a good day) or if I want to live on campus.
