8 on days is a lot, but like others have said you will start to be faster and more efficient, hang in there you will get the hang of it, I felt the same way, got sick every day before work, but you will get through it!

If you already took the test all you can do is just sit back and wait, try not to think about it, at this point there isnt anything you can do now, given the test is the only deciding factor. Good luck!!

Usually a patient in sickle cell crisis they will infuse fluids, put them on O2 and give pain meds. Red blood cells won't help, the problem is the occlusion of the vascular spaces caused by the sickling. What do you mean by 13 months pregnancy?
The opposite happened to me, once I had the gallbladder out I began having reflux. I'm soo happy I did though I'd much rather pop a Nexium than to have the unbearable pain I was having with my dysfunctional gallbladder :)
