Wow thats really different from NM. Mine was issued 2/3/09 and expires 2/28/11. My birthday has no correlation to that! Wierd. Bummer. At least you get it out of the way and will be good for an additional 2 years.

Just another piece from personal experience, I know the economy is terrible and jobs are hard to find, however getting a job doing something that you really don't want to do can lead to early burn out. I worked in a skilled nursing facility for 4 yea...

As a former nursing home nurse...NO WAY in a million years. Despite the number of wonderful nurses that may work in LTC (in my experience most of the nurses in LTC aren't so wonderful) they cannot control a corporations desire for a good profit. Here...

I am not sure. Here in NM your licensure is good for two years from the date you pass the NCLEX. I would contact the BON especially because if you need CEU's by then that maybe difficult. But Hey congrats! I hope it all works out.

I recently graduated and passed my NCLEX as well. Here in NM we are so short of nurses that it is super easy to find a job. I just started fresh out of school on an L and D unit with 3 months of orientation. I am not sure what its like in CO but all ...

As a former LPN and a new RN I have some insight on this. As a brand new LPN I found that the techs and aids had a really hard time taking delgation from me, and always had an issue..for example " My kids are older than you, I don't have to...". As a...
I found I passed today! I wouldnt worry about it unitil you know for sure (easier said than done I know) So far I am under the impression that 75 questions and SATA are a really good thing! I am crosssing my fingers for you!
gator_bait13 replied to futureRNJaz's topic in NCLEX
I took my NCLEX RN today. I got 75 questions, a ton of select all that apply, a ton of priority Q's and a few drugs. I was hoping for more drugs, I know those....I feel like I failed miserably because all of the questions seemed outrageously hard.
