   Andrew26: This thread is from awhile back, I applied to PCC & County in spring 09 to start in fall. PCC took about 10-12 weeks to send out acceptance letters, County took even longer. Love County though!

   I have not taken the TEAS, part of the reason I would prefer to go to County. The thought of waiting another 2 weeks makes me want to scream!

   A couple of weeks! OMG. What is up with them taking soooo long. I heard that alot of the alternates get into PCC. I guess I will just accept at PCC until I hear from County. UUUGGGHHHH!!

   I got into PCC! Still waiting to hear from County, that would be my first choice. Hopefully by the end of the week.

   I called PCC this week, they said mid-June! Why do they take so much longer than all the other schools. I'm going to be so nervous next week waiting to hear about County. Good Luck!

   You must be a resident of Los Angeles to apply, that has nothing to do with bonus points. You get one bonus point if you work for the County of Los Angeles. You can get 93 points by getting all A's, passing test on 1st try, and meeting requirements ...

   http://www.ladhs.org the number is on their site. It really sucks that they make you wait so long and then only give you like a week to respond. Have you heard anything about how hard it is to get into PCC?

    Thanks!! Sorry to hear about Glendale, but I think you should get into County with 80 points, I have around the same. Good Luck! Which school would you choose if you get into the others you applied to? Rio Hondo is lottery right?

    I finally got the test results yesterday and passed. I only applied to LA County and Pasadena City College. If I don't get into either of those then I will apply to the lottery city college programs.Waiting to hear is torture!

    I don't feel like I did that well, but someone on this thread said she was worried about not doing well and she passed. The subject matter of the test is not that hard, but you have so little time you get flustered and can't think straight.
