they gave me a dry erase board and dry erase marker. There is a botton you click on the computer and the calculator will prop up. We were not allowed to bring in anything.

    Tis' true!!!

This was my career before NS and still have many friends in the business. ALL freebies are going away. Who knows how long it will last. Really, it's just not good for PR right now.

This reminds me, I need to call them and stock up on sticky pads myself. I had NO idea how much those ltitle buggers actually cost! :chuckle

thanks for the reminder, I'll need to stock up too:chuckle

Sorry to hear you didn't pass, I too failed on my first try and will be taking it again. I am going to try suzann's plan to help me study. I think I just need some structure in my studying and turning off the tv might help too. Just had a thought, no tv, maybe the kids grades will improve too:wink2:

I took my nclex-rn on the 11th also. I went on the pearson vue website and loged back in, clicked on quick results, payed $8 bucks, and they posted my result. Good luck to you all. but if you can't wait to know and you took your test with pearson, the results are in.

    RNGrad2006 and lindarn like this.

I don't know that it will be a requirment to have a BSN but it sure seems to be leaning in that direction. My supervisors at work recently got their BSN and lord and be hold since then all they have hired were BSN when before they did not consider the degree as much as they did the experience. I asked one of them about it, the one that wouldn't hold it against me, and she told me that times were just changing.

mine shut off in the 80's and unfortunatley I did fail, but from what I have read it doesn't matter how many you do. You can pass or fail at any number. So good luck

what worked for me were the practice test and the tutorials that ERI offers. ERI is nothing like school testing so I quit trying to make the link. It was very frustrating. Make sure you go over your scores and review your weak areas with the reviews they offer so that you can understand what they are looking for.

I'm so sorry you failed. I too found out today that I did not pass. I'm going to try suzann's plan and hopefully pass on my next try. So keep your head up and keep studying, we'll get it next time.
