   I started at Akron General as A new-grad. I think it has a pretty good nurse residency program (12 weeks). I think like all institions there is room for improvement. I do like computerized charting. I don't see many openings t omove up though.

2. How much did you earn your first year?

   I started off at 22.96 an hour with a 1.50 shift diff. But becasue I am in a union i get a pay increase evcery june and in july for shift diff.

   I think it's a great idea. I picked up a NA position a coupl months before I took the N-clex and it really get you comfortable working w patients!!
