I would talk to someone that just passed the course and see if they have a reading list... the get ahead on your reading for that class! That will help you the most! This way you are reading what they have already put there for you to learn!
I think that it is important for the school to really look into the student before making the choice to kick them out. Some students are great students that know the material that may have just had other factors that affected their sem and grades for that class! I think that should be taken into accout also before decisions are made!
Yes there are cliques! I have to say I really didn't notice any till the last sem. It started to get really bad! I think it is kind of sad that people form cliques and things get like that!
Yep I actually live on the westside of town! Be ready for spending lots of time studing and at clinicals! It takes more and more of your time as the sem go up! It is a great program though I love how you can study when ever you want to!
thanks! I just was feeling all alone and just wondering if anyone else had gone though the same thing! I am getting ready to go though the process of appling for re-entry to the program and to take the class over again!
I am a little lost right now I didn't pass my 3rd sem class by 1% and I feel like the floor was pulled out from under me. I really feel like am alone in this and was wondering if anyone else had experienced this?
no that is good!
my best advice is to not put more on your plate then you can handle! It may seem like you are doing a lot less class (like our program) but really if you add that extra class you could end up failing the sem/class!
Make sure you don't put to much on your plate (ie extra classes and personal items) It will get you in the end!
I have so many nursing friends that are so stressed out right now being Seniors. They are just counting the days to graduation!
I am not ashamed of failing last year, I did only miss it by three points...but It just does something to me inside because I have had to put so much into this program and put my family on the back burner. I have another friend that was a re-entry student just this past Aug. and she just flunked out again, so now she is going to do the LPN program...good thing there are options for us!
I am so glad I am not doing this for the money...
I am an internet student there and I love the internet program! I love having the freedom to study and learn when I want or have the time. The first 2 instructors are wonderful and very nice and helpful! If you can't budget time to study though I would consider the day program because you must learn the information yourself no one to listen to! I hope you get accepted! Are you from the area?
