First, I am sorry to hear what happened to you. Did you have a midterm evaluation at all during clinical? Because is you were in jeopordy of failing you should have been notified then so you good improve. Second, in a professional manner, which all you ducks in a row and justifications write a letter of grievance. CC this letter to the instructor, your nursing advisor( who may have a good relationship with this instructor), director of this particular rotation, and the dean of your college of nursing. Find out if there is something you can do to rectify the situation while allowing the instructor to not have to admit to being wrong e.g. mandatory summer lab hours. How was your lecture grade thus far in the course if it was good this too may work in your favor.
Did you send a thank you card? A lot of people don't, so sending one may earn you some needed brownie points.
does anyone have any tips on the CORRECT way to critique a nursing research article?

a classmate of mines goes to the neighborhood drug( walgreens/cvs) store and the Pharmacists are more than happy to give you info.
I attend a university in Chicago and we take the ATI also. Focus on normal changes that occur with aging, most common side effects of the meds. Do you have an ATI study book? If so read from front to back : literally. Know your lab values; especially those dealing with acid/base and electrolytes.
