  1. Travel Nurse question NYC?

Someone inform me that even though I live in NYC, that I can be a "Travel Nurse" in NYC and they'll pay my rent or pay for me to live somewhere in NYC. Is this true? Also what is the dollar amount that you get for being a Travel Nurse.
  2. BMCC Chem

Aldephi is the only school I believe require Chem 122, everyone else such as LIU, Molloy, and NYU all you need is Chem 118 and Chem 121. You just have to decide if you can't get into BMCC program, which school you'll apply for and take the Chemistry ...

You don't need a PDA, I wanted one but I couldn't afford it. Now, I realize in my last semester I never needed it. All you need is a small pad for pre and post conference, drug book, hospital shoes, uniform. I always had a pen that went around my nec...

  7. transferring to CMSV..really need advice

I don't think they suppress any grades on your transcript. They usually send all your grades. You have to make sure that SMVC will accept your highest grade before you transfer there. There are other BSN programs, Molloy, LIU, Adelphi and others.
  8. Stonybrook University

Wow, I apply to Stony Brook also. I also apply to LIU, however there 2 yr bach program is only 2 or may 3 days a week. But Stony Brook is that much of a difference. Also were you a volunteer that help you get accepted in the program
  9. Is there a transition program to PA to NP?

core0, Thanks for the info, I just sent you a PM. Yea that make since, unless I have a Nursing degree. There is probably no transition program. The school I'm going to is a Bach PA. I have the GPA and all prereqs done. I wasn't even thinking about...
  11. Whats the different in PA an NP?

Thanks for the info, I was just looking at those posting when you send me that message. However do you know any PA to NP transitional. I can go right into the PA clinical for the next two years instead of getting a BSN. After reading those posting yo...

  14. Pace vs. NYU vs. CNR

I like that NYU accept anyone prereqs. If you don't have a Non Medical Bach degree and not applying for the accelerated program. I'll choose NYU because, Pace Basic BSN program is 3 yr clinicals, CNR is 2 1/2 yr clinicals. But LIU an NYU is 2 yr clin...
